Good morning, Spokane!

Spokane has one final Wednesday-night market stroll left before Summit Parkway packs up for the season. That feels like a fair bargain for mid-September: one more bag of produce, one more song by the river, and zero need to pretend we're ready to let summer go quietly. The calendar may say fall is coming, but Spokane still has a few late-summer rituals to finish.

In today's Spokane Pulse:

  • Three Lewis and Clark seniors earn National Merit recognition

  • The final Kendall Yards Night Market arrives Wednesday

  • Three fair concerts fill Tuesday through Thursday

  • Gonzaga soccer and volleyball host back-to-back home nights

  • Hillyard's Creative District celebrates its first birthday

Let's get to it. — Laina & Lucas Wyland
