It's going to hit 82 degrees today, which means summer has officially stopped asking for permission. If you spent this weekend dodging rainbow confetti at Pride, cheering on the Egyptian national team at Gonzaga, or just standing in front of an open freezer, we get it. Plenty happened while you were busy being a Spokanite.

In today's Spokane Pulse:

  • Spokane Pride brought an estimated 50,000 to Riverfront Park

  • Egypt's World Cup squad trained at Gonzaga (and plays Belgium today)

  • Summer Parkways takes over the South Hill tomorrow night

  • And much more!

Let's get to it.

Weekend Roundup

🌈 Spokane Pride returned to Riverfront Park this weekend, drawing an estimated 50,000 attendees across two days of performances, vendors, and the annual parade through downtown on Saturday. Over 250 vendors and multiple stages made it the Inland Northwest's largest Pride celebration.

Max Belyeu hit two home runs on Saturday as the Spokane Indians trounced first-place Eugene 11-2 at PK Park. Belyeu jumped on the first pitch of the game for his ninth homer of the season, tops on the team, then added a two-run shot in the eighth.

🏊 Spokane County pools open today for the 2026 summer season. The Northside and Southside Aquatics Facilities will run two daily sessions (11 AM to 2 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM) through August 16. Admission is $8 for ages 6-59, and reservations are available online up to 14 days in advance.

🇺🇸 The U.S. Men's National Team opened FIFA World Cup 2026 with a 4-1 win over Paraguay on Friday night, sending soccer fans everywhere into celebration mode. Men, You've Been Misinformed

Men's skin is about 25% thicker than women's, but thicker skin doesn't mean better aging. It means delayed collapse. For years, your skin looks resilient. Then collagen declines, and when it does, it drops hard: deeper wrinkles, heavier under-eye bags, more dark spots showing up all at once.

Most men were never taught to get ahead of this. Women were. And by the time the signs show up, you're playing catch-up.

Particle Face Cream was built precisely for this. One 6-in-1 formula engineered for men's skin — reduces eye bags, dark spots, and wrinkles, restores firmness, hydrates deeply, and revives dull tone. No complicated routine. Over 1,000,000 men already use it. Try it risk-free with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
